seen these guys at CHIPPEWA LAKE PARK, outdoor stage, when i was about 12 years old. the world was never the same. these guys were local Cleveland, from what i understand. they amazed me. i got a guitar the next day.

Every member of this band was actually from Mentor, Ohio. They went to Mentor High.

I don't know how many times I hear this song it never gets old. This song means more to me than any Beatles or  Rolling Stones or Bod Dylan song ever . It's something about the way music was made back then I always thought it was something special. Its too bad music is not like this today This is one of those true amazing simple rock and roll songs that will be around forever.

Saw the Choir at the Hullabaloo in Chesterland, OH back in 1968. Basically the start for Eric Carmen and The Rasberries

The choir evolved into the Rasberries in the 70s. You can hear the background vocals on this song that are very siminar to the harmonies of the Rasberries sound.

When I was 11 years old,  I got a brand new Sting Ray bicycle, with the racing stripe seat, stick shifter, metal flake paint job,  for my birthday.  tied my transistor radio to the handle bars and went out cruising around the neighborhood  with some friends on their bikes, and remember this song coming on, in that moment ,I felt like the coolest kid in the world.

I remember this song from when I was a kid in the 60's, my hometown AM station WORC 1310, was a very cool station for it's time. This tune is the epitome of everything that made 60's music great for me. Love the Gibson bass. I just played it about 10 times in a row.

This has to be the perfect '45- I bought it and played it over and over. It's even better now, all these years later. I'm playing it over and over right now!

Garfield Heights student when this song rocked Cleveland. The Vietnam War took me away from the place I loved, but I am thankful I lived in the Pride of Cleveland Past. Remember always The Plato, Agora , Blossom...great memories. Thank you Choir!Cleveland is still the Best Location in the Nation!
