Only reason I went to Grand Ole Opry was to see the Issacs . ( I was hoping to hear Walk On ! ) Many uprising artist performed whom I never heard of. Their performances did not impress me ! When the Issacs walked on stage . I was glad to be at The Opry.
I do enjoy their music and they have so much talent. I have seen them several times but will not attend any more of their concerts. I am tired of hearing about every illness they have had in the past. I know all about the Holocaust and actually taught lessons on the event for thirty years but I go to a concert to hear music and not a history lesson or have to sit there when I am being read to from a book about the sad time in history. They try to tell you that it does not take away from their songs. It does take a lot of time out of their two hour block of time when they should be singing. I paid for music not history lessons.
Used to run the sound board at my church when I wasn’t leading music. One Sunday I played this right before service began..needless to say it lit the place up!!!!
Jesus IS holding our hand, BUT, we, to many times, CHOOSE to pull our hand out of HIS HAND, and we want to go where we want. THEN, EVERY time we go our way, trouble DOES come down on us, and we are stupid enough to blame Jesus, INSTEAD of taking Responsibility for our own CHOICES and we whine and bellyache saying/asking Jesus, “Why did you leave me, why did you let this happen Lord.” Jesus tells us, “I did not walk away from you, you Child, are the one who CHOSE to walk away from ME, and there ARE Consequences for your going your own way”. Keep hold of HIS Unchanging hand
