The Montgomery Brothers - Jeannine download song

Buddy is kick-ass on those vibes. I came up in the generation when everyone was raving over Bumping on Sunset. I was a teen and no where near as accomplished as I am as a senior. So sorry I didn't know these other two splendid brothers existed. I love this.

'Jeannine' is one of those incredible compositions that sounds brilliant no matter who is preforming it. If my life had a sound track it would be 'Jeannine' . I've heard many great musicians do this tune but my favorite by far would have to be "The  Montgomery " brothers. From the opening cords they own this cut. Buddy is an absolute beast on the vibes, while Wes comes in like the mellow fellow he is laying down sweet cords changes and riffs like a farmer planting seed while brother Monk keeps everything together with his slick bass work. Some may argue that they've heard better versions of "Jeannine" but for me this track is near perfection. Great upload.

far as i know this track is called joanne see recording by manhattan transfer. anyway a great track i havent heard for 43 years
