Every single time I hear this song, I'm transported to 1985, 1986 and 1987, when I was 6, 7 and 8. I get crystal-clear flashbacks from that time period. It is so wonderful of a feeling. My childhood was so horrific that you wouldn't believe, yet songs like this were dream-like and inspired me to not die. That potential future I foresaw as a child, the love I hoped I could give and get back, made me want to be dream for a better life. I don't know if I will ever find that love, but this song brings me back to that time again so I can capture that feeling one last time.

Who's here after listening to The Strokes' Eternal Summer?

I find it interesting Richard Butler keeps his English accent while he sings. So many other bands have more of a neutral accent when they sing, but not The Psychedelic Furs. I think it adds to their charm.

Just heard this coming back after seeing my sister in the hospital. She loved this group. I was the cool kid in school for knowing teen music before other kids did, because of her. She's now in palliative care. She had a stroke during brain surgery to remove a tumor. She's paralyzed on one side and blind in one eye. She has had one problem after another! I cried like a baby and looked like a fool when this came on the radio.

I'm a child of the '80's and The Ghost in You is a defining song. The Stokes Eternal Summer song is very cool. Goes from tough to sweet -- a little Bowie even. Would have been cool to hear exact same lyrics as Ghost in You. Overall I support The Stokes for their creativity.

me and my wife just came home from a terrible day at both of our jobs and this comes on and I just looked over and her and sang this to her and just seeing her smile will always make me happy no matter how bad both of our days are

As a 12 year old Black kid in the projects of Camden N.J. I didn't know what kind of music this is but I LOVED it.
