When this was first played at the Casino it took so long to break. People said it sounded like Tom Jones, and it was too slow. Crazy to think that there were people around at the time with such narrow attitudes. At the time, I had been going to soul clubs since 1974 and had seen a lot of changes but could still look embrace trakcs like this that were to become the new style of Northern Soul.
