For all the many Nick-haters out there I would submit to you that this album (and even more particularly In Waves) showcase his drumming talents nicely. In fact I actually consider him to be a superior drummer to Travis, at least in terms of writing and recording. Admittedly he could be a bit of a mess live, but so was Travis. Alex is head and shoulders superior to both of them for sure.
