So hold your head up high and know
It’s not the end of the road
Walk down this beaten path before
You pack your things and head home
At the end of the road
You’ll find what you’ve been longing for
You’ll find what you’ve been longing for
I know 'cause my feet have the scars to show
I was lost with vague direction
And no place to call home
It’s time for you to press on
This is not your war
Set your signs, set your signs to North
Press on, press on
No, this is not your escape, this is not your escape
Wash away what they thought of you
And press on, press on
'Cause in this place we’re all
As good as dead end cycle
'Cause in this place we’re all
As good as dead end cycle
Press on, behind the mask you’ll find yourself alone
It’s not the end of the road, the end of the road for you
At the end of the road
You’ll find what you’ve been longing for
You’ll find what you’ve been longing for
You’ll find what you’ve been longing for
i broke up with my gf year ago, i know, sounds stupid, because it happened to everyone, but the main point is, that i took this album with me out and played this song and took a looooong walk through the beautiful summer evening.. sun was slowly fading and you just thinking: yes, everything is going to be just fine... there is always a way:)!
never give up, cry if you have to, but never give up:).. just breath and feel the world around you... this is your reason to be - to be !
I love how the title of this song literally says who the song is for. Anybody that can relate, and needs to hear it. I just feel bad for everyone that doesn't know this song exist because it literally saves lives.
There will probably never be another metal album as good as this. It's just so fucking good. This song is such a perfect way to close one of the best albums ever made.
First time I heard this song was while I was peaking on shrooms, biking down an old railroad track trail during the most picturesque day in fall. I made a random mix on my mp3, never heard it. It made my soul cry
This song has pulled me through all the hardest times of my life. I am so grateful for this band. I just hope they can know how much i really appreciate them
