Vera Lynn - We`ll Meet Again download song

During WWII, Vera Lynn would sing this to the troops that were about to be sent into battle and some of them would not come back. It gave them courage to meet their fate, one way or the other, and to know that their sacrifice is and was worth what they were about to encounter. This song helped them to believe that they will meet up with their loved ones in another life and they need not worry about those left behind. May God bless each and every man and woman who endured the trauma of that terrible war. May it never be repeated.

A magnificent voice of a bye gone era has gone silent. She was a treasure.

My grandfather was a para who went into Arnhem, nothing but the utmost love and respect to anyone who participated in that war.

I always imagined the background chorus were the soldiers from the war,those who have fallen and those who have passed and now she joins them all together finally in peace, R.I.P Vera Lynn
