The 80's was a decade of stunning transition. 1980: most people used a typewriter. By 1989 it was a pc with a word processor and a printer. Everything was big, loud and bold. Not to mention optimism. MTV in the 80's was awesome.

For me, this song just captures being a teenager during summer back in the day. Having fun in the sun, chasing girls (and falling in love every five minutes), and just smiling at life in general. I never quite met a girl as pretty as the ones in this vid, but then again, I wasn't in a band. :-)
