Ema (Sudec), I noticed that you wrote: "it's sad how today there's no music like this, only some techno goth crap". Well , there still are some really excellent goth bands around. Check out "Grooving in Green" as well as "Terminal Gods, both from the UK. Grooving is particularly good... cheers!
They reminds me of the song in the sense that they are both sung in very similar tones,
is that what you mean?
Like, the Chorus of Heartland feels has the same mood as most of this song, imo
Funny remember squatting in Greenwich in London listening to a vinyl of the Unoffical theme to Angel Heart by the Sisters in 10 inch vinyl and it being the same song...
Yeah, I thought of that when I made the video, but the way I made all of these was just by using the same "video" portion for each song and resizing it based on the song =/
IMO,
They're the best band ever produced
;)
Word around is that they may be getting back together soon for a tour and new album,
but to be serious, as awesome as Andrew is, if you've seen him lately,
his isn't exactly the best singing material out there anymore.
=[
Did they ever produce a bad song. The sound, the look, the scene. SOM where the darker side of the 1980. The kids today have Will I Am, Jay Z and the X Factor and Knife crime. So Sad.
Agreed,
and the pictures are there because I just made a template that I reused for all of my other uploads...
Seeing as to how I only upload when I have the time, and would want to have to make a new string of pictures each time =/
I've tried out for several "dark wave" bands just for a larf because I love Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy..... but it just seems like people today don't actually listen to music. They just copy what they think it should sound like. "dark wave" is a joke..... these bands were living the music in their minds. That's what separates originality from copycats.
