I know this is about Candy and gender dysphoria and all that , but to me this song is about deep depression. Hating your body and mind and soul and everything about yourself , being tired of moving through the motions and all it takes to be human. Wanting to walk away from your self and your life. Waiting for things to change and the world passing you by as you wait . Hating big life altering decisions , as you are unable to make up your mind on anything. Wondering what others think about in their private thoughts , wondering if you’re really all alone in this world

Not a big fan of the voting body called The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame... Not really necessary and very clique oriented... That said it was wrong to leave Doug Yule out the induction of the Velvets. I can understand leaving out the replacement dudes after Reed left the group but Yule was an important member of the group on seminal material. This has to do with, in my opinion, with the false perception that they became a folk rock/soft rock group after Cale was asked to leave.
