This is something I truly love about her. Björk is known for being a bit eccentric and weird, but as we can see here she can be one of the most dramatic singers in the world. With thanks to David Arnold of course. It would be amazing if she did the theme for the new James Bond film.

I think bjork is natures response to a human world growing exponentially inhuman. This is why she seems so alien; to remind us how far we have come from ourselves. Some say she is childlike in her innocence, yet divine in her sexuality. I think like children, she is the only place where real imagination, intuition, and curiosity still lives in the technological tyranny we live in which deafens our ears to our own humanity, and blinds our eyes to our own beauty with it's constant maddening light and sounds.

It's a strangely structured song, the bass line is continuous and the chorus is seemlessly connects to the verse as tho it's part of it. You can tell this song flows from inspiration rather than being mechanically written. There really isn't a flaw or weekness to this song, it captures the essence of extreme drama and darkness to a T. What an amazing set of pipes she has.
