Can’t help this feeling
Can’t help this feeling
I can’t believe it’s open for discussion
We’ve said our goodbyes
I’ve been a fool not to see the repercussions
You’ve had in my life
I’m at the point of no return
I’ve finally crossed the line
Don’t want to stop and watch the bridges burn
Cause I can’t stand to see you stay behind
I need your love
I want you every way
I need your love
Can’t help this feeling coming back everyday
I stayed around hoping you’d discover
How much there was to lose
I spelled it out, I led you to the water
But you’re too blind to choose
I gave it everything and more to make it
I’ve waited for so long
I saw the chance to run and had to take it
But something’s missing and I know it’s wrong
I’ve passed the point of no return
And all the tears have dried
Don’t want to stop and watch the bridges burn
Because I keep wishing I was on your side
I absolutly love boston im 15 i love classic rock boston used to b my dads favorite band and now their my favorite band tom scholz is a amazing and absolute great song writer and a kick A guiar player(even though Gary phil plays the solo in this song) and its a shame Brad Delp died cause that would hav been awesome!!!!!
I owned the "Walk On" CD for several months before I actually knew it was a Boston album! My room-mate at university gave me a box of his old CDs, several of them without cases - including this one. It was so badly scratched that only a couple of songs played properly, but fortunately this was one of them.
This was in 1998. CDs weren't immediately recognised by computers when you inserted them in those days... and I didn't own a computer anyway! I knew "More Than A Feeling" but no other Boston songs at the time, and even though now this song is instantly recognisable as a Boston album opener, it wasn't to me then. Still, I found out eventually.
My opinion hasn't changed in 17 years. "Walk On" is an OK album, but "I Need Your Love" is a glorious, timeless classic - probably one of the top three songs Boston ever recorded.
Don't understand how this album went under the radar, it was sooo good, maybe little different, but still boston, LOVE It, just as good as other albums.
I remember the first time I heard this song. I was at Best Buy... back when they had headphones to "preview" selected CDs. Being a long time Boston fan, I didn't know exactly what to expect.... The blend of Tom's guitar and Cosmo's smooth vocals blew me away.
Glad there there is still support here from old school Boston fans. Most would love nothing more than for 'Walk On' to fall off the radar, but I'm here to tell you folks that it SHOULD be hailed as a worthy addition to the same classic rock pantheon as the self-titled debut and 'Don't Look Back'. If you like those albums but can't wrap your head around this one, you need to have your ears checked. Just sayin', folks. :)
I'm 21 and I started listening to Boston a couple of weeks ago, today I can say I LOVE BOSTON. They're absolutely great.. I feel the magic when I listen to them..
I saw Boston when their second album came out...the guy playing before them was Sammy Hagar.. it was general admission. I remember a bald 50 something guy with a Boston shirt on standing and cheering..now I'm 59 and can see what he heard to be great rock.TIMELESS!
