I’d like to see you
In the morning
In the evening
But you need a warning
I’d like to see you
It’s a last ditch
C’mon you gotta
Ain’t sayin' there’s not a hitch
Come on out now
It’s the only way
Can’t think i know how
Is that all you’re gonna let me say
I’d like to see you
Don’t you miss it
Lied again today
And now i wish that
You’d believe me
When i need to
You should be weary
I would if i were you
Can i come along
I can’t take the strain
Now what else is wrong
Sure, i’ll take the blame
I’d like to see you
In the morning
In the evening
But you need a warning
I’d like to see you
Don’t you miss it
Lied again today
Now i wish that
You’d believe me
When i need to
You should be weary
I would if i were you
Can i come along
I can’t take the strain
Now what else is wrong
Sure, i’ll take the blame
Come on out now
It’s the only way
Can’t think i know how
Is that all you’re gonna let me say
You got things to do
So what else is new
Won’t you give me some
Bring it back for me
Won’t you come and see
You’re the only one
You’re the only one
You’re the only one
What I love best about this band is how musically inclined J. Mascis really is. On this song, thanks to multi-tracking, he was playing guitar, drums and tympanis. He's practically a one-man band, even though he does have a band.
the density of the quality songs on each of their albums is fvcking high, unlike all other bands that got 2,3 hits,, here is quality all the way.... someone once said J Mascis is God, well hes not, but hes certainly not far away from being hehe:) The man is a genius.
Wow, you too? I just saw him in concert here in Seattle a few weeks back. This album helped me through some hard times back in 1994. J is like the guy who I wish was my best friend (no offense, Scott).
finally when she came back and gave me the records i realize how
much she loved me cause she open both of them and to discover i little bit of my world and the things
i liked and she was singin this one "what else is new" despite she was a fan of Maria Carey
I loaned this album from a library near my house when i was like 9 or 10 years old and I didn't like this at all. Now I love it. Now I understand the beauty in this.
My Ex bought this record for me cause she went to the big city and only there you can get these kind of records,
i never heard the record before and i called her to ask her y she get some dinosaur jr
record and she said " yes i got two, one is green mind and the other one is where
you been" i was so excited.. Keep reading below
I'm really starting to like this band, god damn.
And all the thanks in the world to J Mascis for releasing an affordable Jazzmaster signature model through Squire for us poor kids.
Man... this song you posted back in 2009 is the one that made me stick to Dinosaur Jr for the past years. I have been to concerts, met Lou, saw J solo, started playing the 6 strings... I had stumbled upon it by accident back in 09 - I'm glad I did it. Thanks.
this girl I dated turned me onto Dinosaur Jr. back in like 1993. When I bailed on the relationship I was a real jerk....I didn't listen to these guys for over 20 years because it reminded me of being a jerk....but man they just shred...I think I served my time in purgatory...
