Intervals - Automaton download song

I love intervals as an instrumental band but I have to say this guy is a great singer and i like his style compared to all the growling and falsetto vocals in metal.

2:06 reminds me of the last riff of the song Not Alone by All That Remains. Of course it's not close enough to be stolen or anything, that's not what I'm implying. They are just similar. Very catchy

I will always prefer the much more original sound of the EPs. But excellent song writing. Reminds me of Erra or Corelia. Big melodic titans, these songs. Takes some getting used to, as many others have surely illustrated. My opinion... I would like to request more guitar lead in the future. People might not be so upset about the vocals then (which are actually pretty amazing, but don't hold shit to the guitar leads from the EPs).

I think that it sounds like the old The Human Abstract style

Love the riff at 2:05! Sounds so nostalgic for some reason.

The opening guitar part is kickass to play...always a criterion for liking a band \m/

there is nothing about this song that isn't perfect. the instrumentation reminds me of Good Apollo era Coheed and Cambria in some places, Mike has a perfect voice, the vocal phrasing was on point, the drumming is great, and the entire thing just sits together so well. 

As a huge fan of this band's later stuff, I was a lil wary about the whole vocals thing, but holy crap. This is catchy and awesome as hell!!! Just through the vibe of this song, I can tell everybody involved had so much fun and energy making it; what an absolute jam

Automaton, or...the prequel of Scarlet by Periphery. The beginning sounds a bit similiar to Scarlet. :)
