I would LOVE to hear an instrumental version. NOT NECESSARILY because i don't like the vocals,, but because this type of metal, brilliantly orchestrated with perfect complexity... when a voice is put over it, it can't help but completely change the sound into something new, which is often better, but still different. When i first listened to Periphery's debut album as an instrumental, i couldn't believe how much more i was hearing. and how much it helped me appreciate their final version of the album, because i could see so much better understand how they orchestrated the vocals with it, and just what exactly they were putting vocals over. It is NOT AT ALL an insult to the singer for the band to release an instrumental version of their work. In this case, it would actually be a compliment to show what brilliant musicianship this singer got the opportunity to work with.
