Nick Drake - Fruit Tree download song

Beautiful song.The orchestration is magnificent.

This is astounding. Why? Why haven't I've been told about this? I've seen his albums in Hifi magazine adverts for Vinyl Stores and downloads etc. Years ago. Oh well, better late than never. Downloads it shall be 24/96 if possible |) ~ >>-------------> O

I've always felt his instrumentation and lyrics as unbelievably wonderful.

WIonderful song of this great singer, another great composition of Nick.

I was sat around a campfire this summer past. Im 51. Silence. Then a young guy, looks like a doorman (yeah ok), accepts a guitar and begins to gently sing this song as if possessed with the spirit of the entire crowd of us, enthralled in the semi darkness. I did not know the song, although i had heard ND records once or twice and dismissed them. Convinced me then that the context, the lack of a 'pedestal' etc etc were worthy of more consideration than my superficial, selfish non entity usually manages. Tales from the Firepit.

Nick wrote his epitaph here.  "Safe in your place deep in the earth That’s when they’ll know what you were really worth" R.I.P. maestro, appreciated way too late to save you... but much loved now.

My favourite Nick Drake track, moves me too tears every time. May he rest well ❤
