I knew him - a beloved boy - but no one could help him

That’s so cool, The Cure said they got their name from the lyric, “a troubled cure for a troubled mind”

His works are the soundtrack of parts of my life that would otherwise have no accompaniment...

To me, this music is expression of one of the probably most fragile and beautiful souls that has ever lived. He was just speaking so much his very own language coming from the bottom of his heart.

Life is a heavy emotional burden for some of us.  Those who feel deeply, see deeply, need deeply.   Nick was one of the burdened.

His heart and mind was too heavy, Just like his music, He sees the world differently.

If Nick knew just how many people love his music and love him, I'm sure it would bring a smile to his face

Truly, life was never meant for one as beautiful as you.

"Troubled cure for a troubled mind" - That's how Cure came up with their name for the band...

Why have I never heard of this guy - he has a great sound, great lyrics... haunting quality to this type of music.  Very enchanting... I love his photos - he is very expressive...

One of my Favorite Guitar players (Besides Nick Drake) Richard Thompson is playing lead Guitar on this.

The thing is....the thing is Nick Drake must've felt so trapped, look at these images, the downward expressions in all... A man like this could have easily disappeared beneath a sea of anonymity, he thought he had no VALUE and yet LOOK at the musical genius before you. Truly inspiring stuff!

Check out the music of his mother, Molly Drake. Definitely an influence on the young Nick.
