Stayin' up all night my heart won’t stop
There’s a fire in me to feed
I can’t touch you baby
All you’ve got to do is beam it into me
So won’t you hurry
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Won’t you telegraph your lovin'
That’s what I need
Send your kisses here, send them through the air
My heart’s ready to receive
Please don’t stop no baby don’t let up
You got the open line to me
So won’t you hurry
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Won’t you telegraph your lovin'
That’s what I need
Telegraph your lovin'
I just want to love you baby
Won’t you telegraph your lovin'
That’s what I need
Sweet, sweet kisses here, comin' through the air
Fire raging in me
Feel you coming in so loud and clear
No I don’t ever want you to leave
So don’t you hurry
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Telegraph telegraph your love to me
Won’t you telegraph your lovin'
That’s what I need
I used to have thier greatest hits on an old vinyl record and I thought some of the songs on it were absolutely fantastic. Glad I'm not the only person to appreciate the 'sisters.'
I absolutely agree with the uploader. This track is definitely the best one off of their 1983 studio album 'Break Out'. The next best would be "Automatic".
I brought this album in May 1986 I was about to break out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 6 month after graduation going to Washington, DC....Love every one of the songs on the album. Ruth, Anita and June sang lead on some of their biggest hits off this LP.
great song true that,, from the Breakout album. maybe not a 'hit' bcuz that album had 4 songs that went supper huge in the charts, this one probbly just got lost in the shuffle?
Ultimately my favorite song on the Album. The ending in particular is so sentimentally haunting and sweet I love it. Back in the days when music used to expand people's consciousness and emotional awareness.
Bought the original album in 1983 and had to wait until the deluxe 2011 edition for Nightline to be back on there where it belonged on CD. One of my favourite albums of all time. All killer and no filler. Every track had hit potential.
