6 years ago I thought this song was awesome.. then I went to jail for 4 years. now that I’m older I’m finding out now what it means to start over. It took me a long time to find my worth. This song helps even to this day.

Im no emo or whatever you call these people that listen to this music. I can tell you that I listen to all kinds of genre of music and at the end of the day what really matters is that the song/music is good and enjoyable. This song is cool and you dont have to be an emo to like this. Oh btw dont judge people for what they are. Just listen and Enjoy or leave

This song gives me chills every time. I actually feel sorry for the people who don't like this. They're missing out on something amazing.

I'm not going to be one of those whiny scene kids who claim certain songs "saved their lives" but this song has definitely played a part in my life in terms of helping me push through anything. Work, daily life, helping me fall asleep without worry, and completely shutting off my mind to everything I am worrying about at the time.

"Now that I'm older, I'm finding out how and what it means, to start over" this part hits me hard now. I'm going through a divorce after 4 years of marriage and 7 years being together. It's tough, but I'm starting over.

In this music video Telle looks like Matt the vocalist from Bullet for my Valentine, especially when he screams

I like a lot of these new age Post-Hardcore/Metalcore bands ie.Memphis May Fire, Crown the Empire, We Came as Romans, Upon This Dawning, Secrets, Like Moths to Flames, I See Stars, etc. but I feel like The Word Alive shines more than the majority of their peers. Not only is Telle a terrific frontman, but his lyrics and vocals, along with the band's music, are more memorable than the likes of MMF, LMTF, Secrets, and so on. There's a passion and feeling that TWA has that I don't find in many other bands of their type except for The Color Morale.
