imo the repetitive “WHAT HAVE I DONE” makes the song more emotional, it’s like...he’s gone through with it, whatever “it” may be, up to the point where there’s no returning from his actions, but he’s starting to regret everything he’s done...this song is one of my favorites off the album but probably just bc i know that feeling it gives me all too wellalso i fuckin love the string part that fades out at the end. good shit
