this song is literally what being in love feels like. holy shit

After college graduation in the early 90s I worked for a daily newspaper. My day would start at 4:30am and not end until about 1pm. When I'd get home I was tired, depressed, and feeling useless and alone. I'd throw on A:AaS, mostly the last five songs, and sit in my recliner for hours. Always Returning would penetrate very deeply into my emotions and I would cry just simply because it was so profoundly beautiful. Nice to see people who agree.

I had a friend growing up who I would always hang out with. I grew up a bit in his house. It was a place with a lot of memories. So, after many years, the family decides to sell it and they all go their separate ways. Funny thing is that I keep having these dreams where I'm back there, just one more time. This song reminds me of that.

I placed my phone on the windowsill to hear this while cleaning my studio. As the music played and I saw my phone perched loyally on the windowsill despite its precarious position, i suddenly felt bad about all the times i dissed its shortcomings, and I realised it has always tried its best to serve me within my budget

This song makes me think of sharing something truly special with someone.

My friend, John, I met him when we were 17, he was my first love and then my best friend. This was our favorite song. When he was 30 he left this world for the moon. I love him always. We loved this song and thank you for posting it.

Whenever I hear this I can't help but picture a group of astronauts on their return to earth. No matter how far they venture they are always returning home. Really brilliant song.

When listening it makes me feel I'm home, where ever I am. Thank you Mr Eno!
