I still have the original vinyl from when this came out. 40 years later, the solo still gives me eargasms.

You never see this guitar solo on lists of great guitar solos, which is an unacceptable oversight. This guitar solo eats other guitar solos for breakfast. Devastating like the fire that inspired it.

Fripp and Eno were hot stuff, and that's what baby's been reduced to!

The solo is like I can imagine how it would feel being slashed by diamond encrusted razor blades.

Never mind the guitar solo everyone is going on about... that bass is so menacing...and those vocals ... perfect.

This has to be one of the most intense sounding guitar solos ever. Fripp's tone is just so raw.

As a teenager years ago, I knew that I had finally become a good guitarist when I could play this solo exactly like Fripp does here. My friends all said this solo is horrible and sounds like a guy who doesn't know how to play. I knew better. It's purposely atonal and fragmented. Sheer genius.
