Can't decide whether this is greater than "Everything Merges with the Night." Any thoughts?

Brown Eyes and I were tired We had walked and we had scrambled Through the moors and through the briars Through the endless blue meanders In the blue August moon In the cool August moon Over the nights and through the fires We went surging down the wires Through the towns and on the highways Through the storms in all their thundering In the blue August moon In the cool August moon Well we rested in a desert Where the bones were white as teeth, sir And we saw St. Elmo's Fire Splitting ions in the ether In the blue August moon In the cool August moon

the extra 2:16 of silence at the end was added to sit in awe of what the heck you just listened to

that little piano riff going up and down sounds so familiar, where have I heard that before?

Fripp is the only guitartist of course that could ever actually sound like the tenticals of St.Elmo's Fire

I think I like how I'm finding many links in my musical interests. I just started listening to Brian Eno the other day and now I learned that Robert Fripp worked with Brian. I don't know much about Robert Fripp except he uses (Or used) "New standard tuning" And, Coincidentally, Barry Andrews worked with Robert. Barry was a member of XTC, A band I am a big fan of.

I'm tired of folks comparing Eno to God. I mean he's pretty cool, but he's no Eno.... ;)

One thing I think is safe to say: Eno got the best work out of his guitar players. His vague instructions inspired them. He pushed them out of their comfort zones.

I have decided that this is the greatest song of all time. Your arguments are now inconsequential.

One of Fripp best solos, if not the best.
