One of the greatest covers of all time.  

I like both versions......ALOT. what's wrong with a group paying homage to the great Johnny Cash?

John would be proud.

This band, album and song were WAY AHEAD of the times. One of the most under rated bands in the last 25 years.

Love Johnny Cash. This is a great remake by Social Distortion.

This song needed the quicker pace. Did it justice.

Just amazing. I think June Carter wrote this song shortly after she met Johnny. Also amazing is that the song holds together in this version. Songs that can change to the current times remain timeless. Thank You June!

This might be an unpopular opinion but... I love Johnny's AND this one equally! 

Definitely one of the best covers ever -- totally made it their own. That "hook" with the drums just before the chorus -- so catchy and memorable.

This is how older artists and older music gets introduced to younger generations -very important. I'll take Johnny's version, but hats off to Social Distortion. Plenty of room for both.
